AGENT: Slate Integration (a product of Direct Development, Inc.)
SERVICES: Software-as-a-service; data integration services

Slate Integration (“SI” or, “the Company”) is a data integration software-as-a-service that automatically triggers the syncing of data between HubSpot and Slate on behalf of customers. Slate Integration does not host any proprietary data on company owned and operated servers, and manages all client data through the use of third-party software tools (HubSpot, Slate) that are purchased and owned by its clients. As such, this document outlines the Company’s policy on data privacy as it correlates to its work of managing, operating, and executing data integration services as an agent hired by its clients.

Security, Privacy, and Access

  1. Slate Integration operates by triggering the syncing of contact data across the client-owned HubSpot and Slate portals, and at no point does any proprietary contact information become stored on company owned servers. The only data stored within the Slate Integration platform is field data from each platform indicating field matching configuration for syncing purposes.
  2. During the onboarding and implementation process, access to client owned HubSpot and/or Slate portals may be provided to The Company who will not disclose any login information and/or account passwords to any third-party not authorized to use or access the client’s data. The Company will exercise reasonable care to prevent any unauthorized person or entity from gaining access to data provided by the client. SI will promptly notify the client of any unauthorized access to, or use of, lists or passwords and use reasonable efforts to take remedial measures to address any such unauthorized access.
  3. DD may monitor the client’s software account including use of software tools, customer activity data, and user/operator activity, to the extent to which SI is given access to the client’s software instance. DD may analyze the data, compile statistical and performance information related to the provision and operation of the services, but will not make publicly available any information that is considered the personal data and/or identify the confidential information of the client or its prospective customer data.
  4. Slate Integration uses certain trusted third parties (like Auth0, Amazon Web Services, & HubSpot) to help provide, improve, protect, and promote our services. These third parties will access your information to perform tasks on our behalf in compliance with this Privacy Policy, and we’ll remain responsible for their handling of your information per our instructions.
